Digital Photography: A Workbook (2011, 48 pages, 8½″ × 11″) was written to strengthen understanding of the craft of digital photography. It includes assignments for a one-semester course. The Workbook for Black and White Photography (2005, 48 pages, 8½″ × 11″) has been used since 1978 in classrooms or as a self-teaching guide to strengthen understanding of fine photography. It includes a syllabus and assignments for a one-semester course. Designed to build skill in reading and using a technical manual, it’s useful for weekly assignments or as a supplement to initiate discussions and pinpoint techniques needing attention.

About the Author

Kim Mosley lives in Austin, Texas. He formerly taught digital imaging and photography at St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley. He received a photographer’s fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts in 1981 and served as a visiting artist at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1983–84. He has also taught at Bradley University, Southern Methodist University, and Lindenwood University.

He received his MFA from Bradley University and his BFA from the University of Illinois (CU). His work is included in collections throughout the country, including the Art Institute of Chicago, the Dallas Museum of Fine Arts, and the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson.
